Fomo family: Social Trading and Regional Limits
Fomo family combines a social crypto trading feed with token swaps across supported blockchains from a shared balance. Its mobile app and web platform connect trader discovery, positions and transaction history. Access depends on regional eligibility, with tighter restrictions for derivatives than for ordinary token trading. Finding a trade, funding it and confirming an order involve different information, costs and dependencies.

The short version: Fomo combines social discovery with multichain trading, while regional eligibility and the selected transaction determine which features and costs apply.
Regional eligibility before product selection
Eligibility applies to the service and the selected product separately. Being able to open an account does not establish permission to use every trading feature.
General access
Fomo excludes restricted persons and jurisdictions, including applicable sanctions restrictions. Circumventing those restrictions with a VPN is prohibited. A working app or browser session does not override these conditions.
Derivative access
Perpetual futures and Robinhood stock derivative tokens exclude U.S. Persons and access from the United States. U.S. Persons include U.S. citizens and permanent residents even when abroad. Robinhood stock derivative tokens additionally exclude residents of or people located in Canada, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Additional jurisdictional restrictions apply. Eligibility for one product therefore cannot establish eligibility for another.
Account access and usable funding
Fomo supports an existing account across mobile and web, so a second device does not require a separate trading identity. The account connection matters before adding money or interpreting a missing balance.
Matching the sign-in
The same email or Apple ID provides access to the same profile, balance and positions. Following relationships and notification settings also carry across the platforms.
Crypto funding and payment funding
Web signup supports crypto funding, while the mobile experience includes Apple Pay and debit card funding. These are different entry paths: a crypto transfer moves existing assets, while a payment onramp converts a payment into crypto funding. Availability depends on the payment service and account. A payment authorization and a usable trading balance describe different states; the available balance establishes what the account can spend.
A shared balance across supported blockchains
Fomo brings token trading on supported networks into one interface. Its published app listing includes Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Monad and Robinhood Chain. Network support does not mean every asset on that network is available through every feature.
The shared balance removes manual bridging from the ordinary supported trading workflow. A separate wallet-and-exchange setup can involve managing network connections, funding transactions and moving value between chains. Fomo handles that coordination within its trading experience, while execution still depends on the networks and services involved.
A chain identifies where an asset exists. A token's display name alone does not establish that identity, and similar names can refer to different assets. The selected asset and supported network therefore remain relevant even when the interface abstracts away network switching.
Trader activity as discovery context
Fomo's feed, alerts and leaderboards help surface trading activity. Following a trader provides a way to notice positions and changes without repeatedly searching for that person's profile.
Trade theses add commentary to buys and sells. They explain a trader's stated reasoning, while the associated transaction provides a separate record of the action. A thesis can discuss expectations that have not occurred. Its popularity measures attention rather than proving the underlying argument.
Another trader's entry happened at a particular time and price. A later order faces its own liquidity and execution conditions, even when it concerns the same token. Social discovery supplies context; a historical entry price is not an executable quote.
Does gasless trading remove every cost?
Gasless trading does not remove every transaction cost or guarantee the final execution price. Fomo displays its transaction fee before confirmation. Separate costs can include liquidity pool fees, gas on selected networks and execution-price differences; estimates may omit some costs.
The shared-balance experience reduces the need to manage native fee tokens for supported routes. Costs still vary by route, and some charges come from other providers.
Cost comparisons need the same transaction basis. Buying and later selling involve separate executions, while funding and withdrawal can involve other services. A single advertised percentage cannot describe all those operations. The selected transaction's fee and expected output are more useful than a fee figure detached from its route.
Liquidity and the difference between quote and execution
Liquidity determines how much trading an asset's market can absorb without a substantial price change. Fomo exposes token analytics such as liquidity, trading volume and holder count, which describe different aspects of that market.
Slippage is the difference between the expected execution price and the actual execution price. Prices can change while an order awaits confirmation. Order size and available liquidity also affect the outcome. A busy social feed does not establish that enough liquidity exists for a particular order.
Slippage tolerance, where available for the selected operation, sets an acceptance boundary rather than predicting the outcome. Increasing it permits a larger deviation. A rejected quote and an executed trade with unfavorable pricing are therefore different results. Treating every rejection as a reason to loosen the boundary can change the trade being authorized.
Why is a position missing on the other device?
A different account sign-in can explain a missing position because mobile and web share positions through the same identity. In this hypothetical example, a position appears on the phone but is absent on desktop, and the two sessions use different sign-ins.
The matching desktop account should show the position already visible on the phone. Comparing the email or Apple ID and reopening that account changes access without placing another order. Buying the token again commits funds and creates another trade; it does not reconcile the account mismatch. Both actions can change what appears on screen, but only the sign-in check preserves the existing exposure.
In this example, the matching desktop account shows the original position, so no replacement purchase is needed. If the sign-ins already match and the transaction remains unresolved, wait for its status to become clear. If a completed transaction and the position still disagree, stop additional purchases and seek account support with the transaction details. An unexplained balance difference is not evidence that another order is required.
Wallet control and social privacy
Fomo uses a non-custodial trading wallet, with account authentication and social features surrounding it. Control of assets and visibility of account information are separate questions.
Authentication and recovery
Email authentication and Apple ID sign-in make access to those accounts relevant to wallet security. Fomo also permits private-key viewing and wallet export. Exported keys need protection because they can authorize access beyond the app's ordinary login experience. Biometric app access protects a device session; it does not replace protection of the underlying account or exported credentials.
Profile and activity information
Fomo processes account information, wallet and payment information and device usage data. Linking a social login can supply additional profile information. Social features also make sharing choices consequential: commentary attached to trades communicates more than a transaction alone. A non-custodial wallet does not make an associated social profile anonymous.
Spot holdings and derivative exposure
A spot token purchase and a perpetual position create different kinds of exposure. A perpetual tracks an underlying price and can use leverage. Its position size, margin and liquidation conditions matter alongside direction.
Fomo's perpetual functionality includes isolated margin and take-profit and stop-loss support. Isolated margin keeps collateral assigned to an individual position separate from the collateral backing other positions. Orders intended to close positions remain subject to execution conditions. The social feed and portfolio presentation do not remove those market dependencies.
Stock derivative tokens are cash-settled contracts rather than ownership of the referenced shares. They do not confer shareholder voting rights or redemption for the underlying stock. A familiar asset name can therefore describe materially different rights depending on the product selected.
Sale proceeds, withdrawals and completion
Selling a token changes the trading position; withdrawing moves available funds out through a supported withdrawal method. Those operations have separate completion states. A closed position does not establish that money has reached a bank account.
Fomo supports bank withdrawals, with processing affected by bank schedules, verification and review. Transaction history helps distinguish an order from a withdrawal request. Portfolio profit and loss describes trading performance and valuation, rather than proving that a transfer has arrived.
An executed purchase produces a recorded trade and holding, while a bank withdrawal ends with funds credited to the receiving account. Until receipt is confirmed, a completed sale alone is not proof that the withdrawal arrived.
Details worth knowing about Fomo family
Can I lock the Fomo app with biometrics?
Fomo supports biometric app access using a fingerprint or Face ID on compatible devices. This adds protection when opening the app. It does not protect an exported private key or replace security for the email account or Apple ID used for authentication.
Does Fomo provide tools for tax reporting?
Fomo includes access to tax reporting through its Awaken integration. The integration uses trading records to help prepare reports. A generated report still needs to cover the relevant activity, including transactions outside Fomo that may not appear in its history.
How long does a Fomo bank withdrawal take?
Fomo's published bank-withdrawal timeframe is within three business days, with timing affected by verification, review and the receiving bank. Weekends and bank holidays can extend the elapsed calendar time. That timeframe concerns bank withdrawals, not token swaps or transfers on a blockchain.
Is a token's market capitalization the amount available for sellers?
Market capitalization is not the amount of money available to satisfy sell orders. It is a valuation derived from token price and circulating supply. Available liquidity determines how a sale can execute, so a token can have a large stated valuation and relatively little liquidity.
